This is simply outstanding

"Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" is a horrible experience of unbearable length, briefly punctuated by three or four amusing moments. One of these involves a dog-like robot humping the leg of the heroine. Such are the meager joys. If you want to save yourself the ticket price, go into the kitchen, cue up a male choir singing the music of hell, and get a kid to start banging pots and pans together. Then close your eyes and use your imagination.

-Roger Ebert

I just had the pleasure of reading this.

You should do that now too.

haha! yes! I remember reading this when it came out. While Ebert can sometimes be so bland with his movie ratings/critques, I still consider him the best movie critic of our time.

No way Broseidon. Bordwell and Thompson = most accurate, intelligent, informed, and on the nose critics of ALL time.

that may very well be...but Ebert is like the grandfather of all movie critics! he's a little senile sometimes, but in the end, you can't resist that little old man sarcasm
